It is that time of year where we begin to gather as family, friends and community. To reflect, to spend time together and to be grateful for all that we have and who we have in our lives. It is also time for our 3rd Annual “Giving Thanks To” event. We will have raffles and auction items galore, food by El Puerto Taco Shop and music. This years musical guests include 40 Proof, “Kings of Drama”, Anthony “The Kid”Cullins, This Kids and Sand Jacket along with other special guests. This years recipient is our very own Kimberly Mata. Many of you know Kimberly but you may not know the whole story. Kimberly is a 3 time cancer survivor. And while it may have been easy for her to just give up every time she got knocked down by her diagnosis she never gave up. She fought every step of the way and along with love and support from her husband Anthony Mata and all her family and friends she has come out of these battles victorious! But these battles have left her with some residual medical issues. And while she was lucky enough to have insurance you all know that only covers so much. The costs of her surgeries, medications, rehabilitation and the list goes on is financially a huge burden. So we at the Moose along with our community want to show Kimberly she is loved and has our support as she continues on her journey to recovery. So I want to see you all out to show Kimberly the love and support she so deserves. It’s going to be a rocking great time!!
